The reality:

Local EdTech innovation remains underfunded, even as Africa’s e-learning market is projected to reach USD 20 billion by 2034.

Introducing the Smart Education Fund (SEF)
Empowering Africa’s Next Generation
Set to launch soon, our fund is the reinvestment arm of Smart Impact Consult. It represents our commitment to ensure that a portion of every consulting engagement is reinvested into Africa’s education ecosystem where it’s needed most.
Our Pilot Phase (2026 – 2027)
Before the Fund’s official launch, we will run a two-year pilot phase to test scalable, community-centered solutions. Through micro projects and small grants, SEF will support initiatives that:
Train teachers in digital and entrepreneurial education
Build local learning hubs and community schools integrating EdTech into traditional learning
Fund grassroots education ventures that teach children, teens, and young adults entrepreneurial and digital skills
Empower early innovators to use technology for self-learning and self-employment
These pilots will generate data, case studies, and insights that will shape SEF’s long-term roadmap from 2028 to 2035.
